What is Ultra4 Racing?

Unless you’ve heard or watched the infamous King of the Hammers race in Southern California, then your probably not all too familiar with the insane world of Off-Road Ultra4 Racing.

Ultra4 racing is a mixture of rock crawling, driving through rugged terrain and doing insane speeds. Our trucks are purpose built, designed to hit high speeds in open flat country like trophy trucks as well as climb vertical piles of boulders like a purpose-built rock crawler. There are not many limitations to the Ultra4 class, besides requiring four-wheel drive, the class is unlimited.

The legend of Ultra4 racing started with the King of the Hammers in Johnson Velley, California. The hammers are one of, if not, the toughest one-day off-road endurance race. To this day, over 300 teams compete each year in front of more than 35,000 fans. We may lack the Hammers Desert Race here in Australia but we still have an insane amount of fun.

If you enjoy the smell of race fuel, brutal off-road challenges and high-speed driving, then maybe Ultra4 racing is your thing too. Ultra4 Australia currently offers a 3 races series in the Queensland state with rock crawling, speed and endurance like challenges.
